Understanding the Challenge: Exploring Terrorism in Pakistan Through Words 🇵🇰📜

Pakistan is one of those countries which are being affected by the terrorism activities in their premises; there are a lot of after effects of these disastrous activities which include the monetary loss, loss of lives and even the loss of national peace and dignity. Pakistan is going through hard times under the hand of terrorism activities. The start of the terrorism in Pakistan was late in 1999 when the incident of Lal masjid took place; when the militants and the religious followers got head to head. The military took over the mosque but that gave the birth to the religious extremism and since then terrorism has just peaked to its extent in the last one decade.

The impacts of terrorism are brutal and breathtaking on the country as it has destroyed the economy of our country. The peace and the law and order of the country has even made the citizens fearful as day by day the terrorist activities are being made which has killed thousands of people who were not guilty. The loss of precious lives and the destruction of the public and governmental property has made terrorism as one of the most threatening and intimidating factor for the national interest of Pakistan.

Pakistan is a peace loving nation and playing its important role in combating terror. Recognition of efforts to fight menace of terrorism and sacrifices rendered thereof are testimony to the commitment and resolve to bring peace in the region. Unfortunately, sometimes its commitment is doubted by some of its allies. Mistrust can lead to diversion of efforts, which will not be beneficial to common objective of peace in the region. Pakistan is a responsible nation; fully capable of defending its territorial integrity. Pakistan has singularly committed large forces to combat menace of terrorism more than any other country. No foreign troops are either present or deployed on Pakistan soil.

All citizens of Pakistan must propagate a moderate vibrant culture of Pakistan to promote good will of the world community and shun misconstrued beliefs. Attacks on security forces personnel are executed at the sponsorship of hostile intelligence agencies. Such anti state elements must be singled out and brought to the lime light to defeat evil agendas of our enemies. Pakistan has sacrificed the most in the ongoing war on terror; criticizing Pakistan’s efforts at national/international forum will be counter-productive to the overall objectives of the war on terror.
